Extreme Weather Policy
Your pet's health is my absolute priority. During heatwaves (above 24°C), extreme ice, or severe storms, I transition outdoor walks to stimulating home enrichment visits. This ensures your pet remains safe, comfortable, and mentally engaged without the risks of heatstroke or injury.
Lead & Off-Lead Safety
I understand how important it is for dogs to enjoy safe, enriching time off-lead. I always begin with a ‘safety first’ approach—taking the time to build trust, assess recall, and get to know each dog individually.
Once I’m confident in their responsiveness and comfort, off-lead time can be introduced in secure or carefully selected areas, and always with your full consent. This ensures your dog can enjoy the freedom to explore, play, and thrive—safely and responsibly.
Emergency Procedures
Being Pet First Aid and CPR certified means I am prepared for any situation. In the unlikely event of an accident, I follow a strict emergency protocol: stabilizing your pet, seeking immediate veterinary care at your preferred practice, and keeping you updated every step of the way with total transparency.
